I've had a problem recently after my ISP locked me out unless I reset my password to something far more secure... so I set a really went it for and included the £ sign (it's similar to a $ but far stronger!) .
For some reason Filechute didn't like the changed password so (tongue-in-cheek) I logged a call with the author to see if he could offer any clues. Bear in mind the program only costs just $15, I kind of thought I was pushing my luck but..
Within a few hours Jay (the author) came back to me, asked for a bit more info and.. afew hours later... hey presto updated Filechute to accommodate my very draconian password scheme!!
I'm an IT Manager and hey, I've bought software for the office costing anything for 10 -100 times what Filechute costs yet the support those companies gave me didn't even touch the sides compared to Filechute.
As Amber McArthur and Don McAllister have pointed out in the past, Jay is one of the good guys for sure, he clearly doesn't do it for the money, he does it c'os he believe he wants to contribute to the Mac community, and I for one am very grateful, THANK YOU Jay!
