Cookie Stumbler

Peachtreecity reviewed on 17 Mar 2011
I don't understand all the fuss is about in the discussions below. What I can say is that I downloaded Cookie Stumbler and I have been impressed. It does what it says it will do and it does it well. Well written program, especially for a beta. I wrote in a suggestion to the developer (from within the program), and I was contacted via email within a few hours by the lead developer. They have been very responsive and I plan on purchasing this program once it is out of the beta stage.

I'm liking what I see. Haven't had it running that long, but seems to be faster. Would like to see something along the lines of "total CPU savings" stat.

sArchiver

Peachtreecity reviewed on 16 Aug 2010
A few months back, I became interested in sArchiver, but I already owned BetterZip and iArchiver. Nevertheless I downloaded it and started to play around with it. The main thing I immediately liked about sArchiver was how configurable it was. I had heard that the developer was responsive and I sent an email concerning the lack of the ability to convert an archive from one format to another. I quickly got an email back that this feature will be implemented in a future update, and it was this past weekend. Additionally, the developer contacted me (remember this request was a few months back) to let me know that the new version had this feature. In short, it is a solid program with a responsive developer who updates the program and listens to his users.

I just updated to version 2 and I'm very happy with the new features. The upgrade price is certainly fair ($5 at this time). I initially had a little trouble with an error & the author/developer is incredibly responsive. He began troubleshooting within minutes of my initial email and the problem was solved immediately.
