1Password

ottonomy reviewed on 17 Apr 2009
Nothing else comes close. 1Password far exceeds the capabilities of any other password/login manager. Development never gets stagnant either. If I have a question or a problem, someone answers me via personal email almost immediately, even on weekends. What problems I have had were easily resolved with a little guidance from the friendly support staff. Convenient work-arounds have been provided for unusual feature requests. New and improved functionality (which hardly seems possible, as the product is already perfect) seems to come with every one of the frequent updates, which are painless to install. Synchronization across browsers and computers is effortless. Importing the database from my old, somewhat obscure password manager was simple, even though 1Password didn't specifically support it. I can't wait for version 3.0!

Saft

ottonomy reviewed on 01 Nov 2007
Almost didn't upgrade to Leopard when I found out Saft might be killed by Apple's decision to rid the OS of input managers. I'm so glad I was wrong. I can't live without Saft. When I use someone else's Mac, I feel like I'm using a retarded, incomplete version of Safari. Automatically saved browser sessions are at the top of my list. Always opening new browser windows in a new tab instead. PDF export as a single, unbroken page. Zooming all browser windows to max. So many other features I don't notice till they're gone!

Move Items X

ottonomy reviewed on 25 Dec 2003
Move Items X is one of my most essential utilities. I move a lot of files around, and I never have to open a folder or clean up a mess afterwards. I appreciate the responsive version releases, always available within days of any OS X updates.

Toast Titanium
ottonomy had trouble on 23 Nov 2006
Like others, I cannot login for download. "General_Login_Error"
I tried to report the problem, and was unable to use Roxio's online "Self-Service" system either.
What a terrible website!
