Awesome. They are adding the features at a breakneck pace.
Very nice for a 1.x.x version and the fact they are really responding with significant improvements quickly.
Of course the nitpicking and wining will continue no matter what Apple does.
The developer recently posted the following message in his own support forum:
I don't have a Mac compatible with Lion these days (actually, I don't even have a Mac), so I can't test and debug compatibility problems directly. I have to rely on the reports I get from users. That process is less than optimal. So I've reworked Mori's internals and hope that the cause has been eliminated.
While I can't guarantee the new 1.6.13 release actually works well under Lion, it's reworked views does offer a distinct advantage to users: the ability to see outlines graphically and drag and drop entries from this tree view to other apps.
New version seems faster. I like this app. Never misses a file. I use it a lot to uninstall apps that leave a lot of junk behind just by defining new or modified files from the previous few minutes, that is, when I quickly realize I want to remove it.
Searching by name, visibility or mixing other criteria in with a search is also quick and easy.
Thanks for providing a demo.
QuickCal has more features than Fantastical. It does todos also and has a slick no ui mode if desired. Plenty of settings to configure it exactly as you wish.
Much better than Apple's h264 codec.
Thanks for the continued updates.
I am getting some great quality from FCPX using this directly with Compressor.
Using a quality encoder like MainConcept used to require a re-encode but I am now getting as good results with x264 and not needing the extra step.
Needs to be able to add apps to containers.
Pretty useless if all you can do is edit the first page. I understand the paid version edits all pages but instead of naming it pro and free version, it should be named regular and crippled demo version.
I have no problem with minimilistic apps but was pretty shocked to see that neither exporting or printing is supported. Also there is no list view alone or one that can be sorted to view your entries with any criteria. Seems a journal app should have ways of dealing with your input rather than just being able to input it and view it one way.

to shell out without even being able to take it for a test drive.
What's with all these app store developers expecting customers to blindly pay them for products they don't even know will work for them.
