There are two programs called "MacKeeper" or "Mac Keeper" running around the world. One is malware, and the other, from Zeobit, isn't malware but is a waste of money since there are free tools to do everything MacKeeper does. So I'd suggest avoiding both.
This app is awesome in that it allows you to create your own personal WAN over a secure link. Comes in very handy in supporting remote users behind firewalls or non-configured routers.
I guess your mileage may vary, but I see no of those issues. Every connection whether it be Mac or Linux ARD or VNC, or Windows RDC is nice and responsive.
Can't get it to work with Snow Leopard. I enter the IP address of the our server on port 8088 and it just keeps spinning and saying it's verifying server. Does the same thing when using the hostname as well.

Each time the computer woke up from sleep the server/service would not start again automatically, and this bug was submitted and never fixed.
I've since moved to a free, secure and totally reliable Hamachi network that's "always on" and couldn't be happier. I suggest you all do the same.
