It's alive! Perhaps not free anymore (but for $1.99 - can you really complain?), but works on Lion, has high-res graphics, and is just generally awesome. Ahh, nostalgia is wonderful
Used to love this little plug-in - now it's been stuck in 32-bit forever and thus forces Safari to run in 32-bit mode, the interface hasn't been updated in ages, the photos are all low-res. Started with a lot of promise and has since fallen flat on it's face. Honestly, I'd be happy if they just update the plug-in to be 64-bit compatible. I know it's not a big deal for Safari to run in 32-bit mode, but there isn't any reason for it to have to - it's not that difficult to recompile a plug-in for 64-bit compatibility. The developers just seem lazy.
Brilliant. Thus far it seems to function flawlessly, and then easy of use of just hovering your mouse over the dock to see a preview of the open windows is awesome. Honestly, that was the one feature of Windows 7 that I was a bit jealous of. The additional features various keyboard shortcuts to move/resize the window or snap it into place based what edge of the screen you drag the window to really is just an extra bonus that adds icing to the cake. While this may sound a bit odd based on the praise I just gave, I am a bit hesitant on the price. The functionality is wonderful and flawless - but is it worth $10. It's not much in the end, but when money is tight. Will use the demo for 15 days and then see if I can live without it.
Fabulous program, and this latest update makes it even better.
I've had an old zip file (rather massive zip file, 1+ GB) lying around for a while now, and have been unable to unzip - constantly getting errors that the file is corrupted. I've tried numerous programs to unzip to no avail. Previous to this update if The Unarchiver couldn't unzip.
However, with the latest version of The Unarchiver I was able to unzip without a problem, no errors and seems like every file is there!
Wow, this program has come a long way since it's 1.0 release - and now works pretty damn well! There still seem to be a few remaining bugs (mostly display related...when dragging icons around from page to page the icons don't always show up, and when they do it is slowly) but the thing actually works...which is just awesome!
iWeb 3.0 is a much needed update, and a good update at that. While not adding a whole slew of new features, iWeb 3.0 is considerably faster than it's predecessor, in both editing sites and publishing them. In addition MobileMe Galleries created in Aperture FINALLY show up and work in iWeb (for me this is huge). While still not a perfect product (I wish I could make a web page with relative widths as opposed to fix widths - ie 90% vs. 800 px) the program is maturing very nicely.
New version seems to have some rather major issues - first and foremost being that even though I have a jailbroken iPhone, I cannot set the "root" directory as the iPhone's root directory.
Huh, odd - the application opens for a second and then closes. I see the item in the menubar for a couple of seconds, and then it disappears. I checked my activity monitor and the application is definitely not open...
I was really excited when I saw this application - finally a way to organize my apps on my computer and not have to constantly drag them around the screen! Unfortunately, in Movement's current state, this simply doesn't work. I connect my iPhone via USB to the computer (wait for it to do it's thing, ala sync up with iTunes) and then click on the "Read Apps" button in Movement. A scroll bar slides down indicating that it is reading the apps - and then nothing...the scroll bar just keeps going without ever actually reading the apps on the iPhone. I have let it sit for nearly 5 min, just in case, and still nothing.
In any case, the idea behind this program is awesome...I just hope this bug(s) can be sorted out so that it actually works.
Grr, Aperture MobileMe Web Galleries still not showing up in iWeb (MobileMe Web Galleries created in iPhoto showing up just fine). Already emailed Apple about this and told that it was currently unsupported, figured that they'd fix it eventually! Guess not *shakes head slowly*
Cloud Data is essentially the data that is stored on external servers. For example: Google allows you to save documents on their servers as well as personal bookmarks. This data would be considered to be stored in the cloud - the cloud in this place being Google's servers.
The Cloud is just a fancy name for information that is accessible from any computer with an internet connection.
This version doesn't seem to work with TechTool Protogo anymore. The last version I was using (1.5.8, hadn't upgraded in a little while) worked just fine when loaded onto a TechTool Protogo device. Now, with this new version, when I try to open it when booted up from a TechTool Protogo device, the whole system hangs. I just get that wonderful spinning beachball, and nothing. Anybody else have this problem (or even use TechTool Protogo for that matter)?
Seems a new bug has popped up in this latest release - the Google search in the menu bar no longer seems to work. When I type something in it, and then hit enter, nothing happens. Minute I uninstall SafariTabs all is well again.
Hmm, this doesn't seem to be working. I quit Safari, I installed SIMBl first, then installed TabStop - then reopened Safari, opened a bunch of tabs, closed the window and nothing - quit safari, and nothing. Sounds like a great idea, not quite sure why it isn't work.

This is getting exceedingly frustrating. Maybe an Aperture update is needed.
