Never ceases to amuse me that people try to make you pay for what is done easily for free. In your activity window (option command A or select from Window menu in Safari) look for the largest file. That's the video. Double click on it and it will download. Then drag and drop the file on the FREE iSquint program that will make it a nice MP4 for you.
If your laptop wasn't designed to work with the lid closed there is a good reason for it. You're going to over heat it. And probably damage your LCD and or hard drive or motherboard from excess heat that is not being properly dissipated. This is just a very bad idea.
I too have experienced the "mouse movement or scroll through causes VLC to unexpectidly quit" issue. It seems to have been introduced with the Intel version. Since it had never happened to me with the PPC version. Having said that, it is still the best video player and it's free. It plays many different file types and codecs that other players will not. It supports the use of subtitles and has nice audio equalizer features. I use headphones with my MacBook Pro and watching shows on it look great and the sound is near surround quality using VLC. There just isn't a better alternative and again they give it to us free. What more can you ask for?
Yawn. This may have been worth 20 bucks 15 years ago. But, all you are really doing is funneling ships around. Try it for yourself but, don't get your hopes up. No way I'd ever pay a dime for this.
It needs a lot more before you can charge for this. It's OK as far as these tank battle games go (and this is only 1 in a long list) but, as it is it should be freeware. Not enough weapons. The only 2 that matter in this game is the wall and the missile. The few others that are offered are useless. 18 bucks? No way. But you can see yourself.
I've been using this player since it was first released. This is hands down the most valuable app an OS X user can have. And it's free! I am a little concerned however that the latest version is 3X the size of the previous version. I hope it isn't getting too bloated.
But, a big thanks to the VLC crew for continuing to update this great app.
Too bad we can't edit our comments. I just realized the link here wasn't for the Intel version. The Intel version is only 41 MB. A little bigger than last version but not 2x bigger. AT least I got the review right. 5 stars. Great app.
You don't need any software other than iSquint. Simply open your browser's Activity window. Look for the largest file and double click on it. It will then download the file. Then drag and drop the file on iSquint and voila.
