I've been using both WindowShade (X) and FruitMenu (X) forever. There were some issues early on in the OSX versions, and the Leopard version suffered a long birth, but I have been happy with the increased functionality that the programs provide since Apple itself strayed from earlier UI standards - I've accepted and have learned to use / live with the Dock, Spaces, Stacks, and Exposé, but its just more efficient for me to roll up a window the old way (or currently, like Linux). And FruitMenu, to me, is the best Contextual Menu tool I have - plus I just prefer the old style, highly customizable Apple Menu. And I kinda like the Developer's dry but truthful approach - although I agree this can be frustrating to many. Thanks for a useful tool for my OS X Macs - G4s, G5s, and Intels - all work well.
