OnyX

I love this utility, it's not only free but it reminds me of why I use Macs in the first place. It takes developers like this to keep a great platform going, I highly recommend this to anybody that owns a Mac. Sometimes it's the little things that can wreak havoc in a system that the "big boy" utilities can't fix, that's where Onyx comes to play...

Camino

nikodemus reviewed on 15 Feb 2006
Camino has made me quit using Safari over a year ago.It just keeps getting better and better.
I like Opera as well but none are as fast for me as Camino. I have one of the fastest internet services available and I really notice Camino's speed when I'm out of town and I use a painfully slow dial-up connection. Even with a slow-ass dial-up Camino is still snappier than the others.

I like this utility very much. I like it even better that it's free and it does so much for the system. It completely hosed my Quicksilver (but that machine is a thug anyway) but it works beautifully on my other 4 Macs.

Does what it's supposed to do...something that Apple should let you do with your own files in the first place. After all, some of us are just trying to back up our valuable music. If an iPod meets its maker I don't Apple is going to recover the music files for us...

Razer Pro HID Drivers
nikodemus commented on 01 Jan 2006
I would be leery of installing this driver since OSX handles the Razer mice natively. I've tried USB Overdrive and it just doesn't have the right feel afterwards. Sadly, Razer's new Copperhead mouse doesn't even work on the Mac correctly. I own 5 Diamondbacks, best mice in the whole damn world in my opinion but Razer falls short (flat on their faces) when it comes to the Mac platform. I agree with the last poster about these drivers, I don't feel like playing the install and uninstall game. Just plug your Razer mouse in the keyboard and enjoy a great mouse without any drivers.
