Dropzone is a software swiss army knife. It's not essential to life, but very useful. In addition, If you know Ruby a little, Dropzone will fit more comfortably in your hand.

ExpanDrive

I have been using ExpanDrive since 1.3.4. I have some FTP accounts and amazon S3 account. In every account ExpanDrive absolutely works without any troubles. I am also a PathFinder user and I can access remote volumes mounted by ExpanDrive as well as internal volumes with PathFinder. Of course, It's not say that I have never had a bit trouble, but the trouble caused by a certain third party device driver and ExpanDrive had nothing to do with it. I'm sure ExpanDrive is worth the price or more.
