For those who already have older version and want to upgrade
1) port -d selfupdate
2) port upgrade outdated
3) port install mc
(use with sudo)

JPEGmini

mymon reviewed on 06 May 2012
I'm not a big fan of double compression
Every photographer knows that compressing already compressed file (JPG) is not a good idea no matter how great the algorithm is
however this is a must have app for all who have web galleries
In my opinion JPEGmini's algorithm is an absolutely class

PS users may compare Photoshop's "save for web" but in my opinion it's not even near JPEGmini

Make your own test ;]
On their website you can compress your test photo
Drop an >8MB file and compare it to what you get from PS ;)

The only advantages of PS is that it can save to web from RAW
but if you do a large JPEG photos (not RAW) you can compress it on your SD/CF card and HardDrive and save GB like I did

Google Chrome
mymon had trouble on 22 May 2012
I have a problem with some certificates
They stopped working some time ago and Im not sure if that was because of the new chrome or 10.7.4 update

"The server presented an invalid certificate.
You cannot proceed because the website operator has requested heightened security for this domain"

But is works fine in safari :/

TotalFinder
mymon had trouble on 21 Mar 2012
I've been using TotalFinder for years and never had problems with it until I upgraded to Lion (last weekend)
Sometimes I can not copy/paste folders/files
I can click copy either via the new buttons or from the file menu but than the paste is not available
I can copy/paste no problem using buildIn Finder or muCommander
Im using v1.3.2 but I was also using it under SnowLeopard and it was fine
[Version 1.3.2]
