A week ago, I thought an update had been posted, so I downloaded it and installed it. Zing, no more Plants vs Zombies. My reg code would no longer work either.
Six attempts to contact the developer got me not one single reply (other than automated ones).
My 15 year old likes this game a lot. However the developer is too lazy to provide needed support so I will never purchase anything from this lazy bunch of carrots again.
Save your money and buy from someone who actually provides tech support.
I have used this application for about 2 years. At the time I bought it, Photomatix was unquestionably the best HDR application available - Much better than CS4s HDR implementation. Since then two products have appeared that challenge it, but seem no better than Photomatix to me. The developer has released several upgrades including a major version update at no additional cost.
While I now have CS5 with HDR Pro, I'm still using Photomatix for ease of use. I can arrive at the same end point in both CS5 and Photomatix, but much faster using Photomatix.
I intended to give it a 4 star review, but PorkPieHat's very unfair comment posted as a review has motivated me to make it 5 stars. I hope someone else who actually "uses" this application will join me
ClickToFlash solved a problem that's bothered me since I purchased a new iMac last September. That is, if you have a stereo plugged in to your headphone out port, there is no control over the startup chime which plays on the internal speakers.
Scratch everything I said - I intended to review Startup Sound and was distracted. However, that said and given that Flash, once again, has a security hole, Click to flash should get at least 4 stars
The Satimage osax 3.5.0 Scripting Addition, if you already have it, contains a command to do the same thing, among its many other commands.
If encoding a URL is all you need to do, this osax works just fine. I've used URI Escape for encoding very long strings (AppleScripts) as URLs so they open in Script Editor as scripts.
URI Escape does exactly what it is supposed to do without a hitch.
I tried to use this application on both an Intel iMac and a G5 PPC. It seems to require a "right click" for certain screens that cannot be done with a Mighty Mouse.
I was unable to play the second module for this reason.
Perhaps I have missed something obvious?

Give this developer a pass. They could care less about post sales support.
