I just can't use the new release: the interface is so slow to begin and becoming soon irresponsive... I have to force-quit everytime during my tests as if a big memory leak had occured. My iMac Intel 2Ghz Core 2 Duo with its poor 1 GB of RAM is working like a charm with the fantastastic GraphicConverter 6 - or with any other graphic application -but looks almost dead everytime I use GraphicConverter 7. What's happening ? 3 stars in memoriam.
Really, really promising... Simple but powerful interface: maybe the most intelligent under Leopard. I will take some time to discover how strong it can be.
I would just complain - as for other *new* graphic applications working with pixels - about the poor options related to importation and exportation formats... I don't know why some many news apps can't open any pdf files at more than 72ppi and why they can't export in the GIF or PNG format without offering any option...
Nothing really new... I bought various versions in the future, until v.10. But discovering that no free updates would be provided against what can be considered as an important bug but some $$$ upgrades.. tired with paying again and again to see some bug fixed and minor enhancements, I looked for another complete compression utility. I found it ;-)
Strong, light, fast software with a useful rich contextual menu to easily make archives (including disk images) and navigate through archives content. Really really smart...
