PocketMac Pro
mrtotes commented on 21 Dec 2006
I'm no stranger to the Mac platform (so installing software/hardware has never been a problem) but I'm no expert either.

I have a T-Mobile MDA Compact (for about 15mths) which is a Windows Mobile mobile phone/PDA device (not WM5) and I also bought Pocket Mac Pro 15mths ago . I haven't been able to get a single sync to work since then. PocketMac themselves have proved entirely disinterested in my problem (well they've already had my money) so I wondered if anyone else could help.

If you want to give it a go here and provide valuable Beta information to the authors or any tips to me are the details:

Serial No:
A3UR77-VJGE-JFAQLW-V4BX-1VQY7V-1CR5X3-GQG2-AJPDEW-DKU6-DAWE7R

Thanks in advance.

1680x1050 isn't supported on the PBG4 as such.

As the PBG4 supports Dual Displays SSD is the wrong application for you. You should try SwitchResX instead.

Not being a video guru I can't find the correct settingsrequired not to get excessive digital noise on my files. I've tried several combinations and don't care about file size. If anyone's got any tips... mrtotes@yahoo.com. cheers

I found it. Drop the quantisier to it's lowest setting - seems so obvious now!

Flip4Mac WMV Player

Installing this killed Word, Excel and Powerpoint (none would load) Entourage remained unaffected. Only solution was to uninstall. (OS 10.4.4 and Office 10.1.6)
