I too paid for this. I suppose like France the developer has gone bankrupt and has his credit rating reduced.

I have contacted the developer and the update is available to licensed customers as well but their update server is currently offiine.

SpeedTools Utilities Pro

SpeedTools Utilities is now Speedtools Utilities Pro 3 and has jumped to version 3.6. It is available for download from http://www.speedtools.com/STU3.html it appears to be Disktools Pro in a differrent wrapper. Sales are handled by Other World Computing. So it would appear Intech is still with us after all. Good thing as I have a lifetime license which worked with this update.

Purchased this on MacUpdate promo - no my serial is no longer valid... this is the last PROMO item I buy. This update is supposed to be free to all registered users.... expect those who bought the promo that is.

Great app, I do wish it wouldnt lock the video card on MBP to Nvidia graphics though. This is seen using gfxCardStatus.

If you have paid for both NetBarrier and VirusBarrier I would suggest you give this update a miss until your subscriptions run out. I have been in contact with support@intego.com and there is no provision if you have paid for both renew optons, they arent concerned, you will only get credit for one. In my opinion there should be a second upgrade option for customers (well now former) who have paid for both pieces of software.

It would appear 3.3.1 has a bad sparkle framework and is causing the crashes seen.
