Part of my job is to monitor media activity about the government department I work for and Radioshift has a boon lately. It has definitely helped me impress the bosses by recording some radio interviews or features from local stations and emailing them as mp3s!
It definitely has its quirks and issues, particularly when trying to set up subscriptions. For example I've added some radio stations to my Favourites which I know do not have a Program Listing but I still have to click into the (empty) listing to get to the Subscribe button. Why not just right-click?
Sometimes I have to set up multiple subscriptions on the same station at various points thrtoughout the day but getting a subscription to actually take is inconsistent. Sometimes you have to click Edit/Save Changes multiple times before the subscription is successfully added.
Despite the quirks and issues this software has fast become essential for my job. Radioshift has huge potential and I wish Rogue Amoeba every success with developing it.
