Apple Security Update

mkrad had trouble on 19 Mar 2008

Applied update - OS hosed - will not boot - recommend cloning before applying update. Am now trying to restore from time machine backup from 2 days ago. 38GB w/250GB to go. what a PITA. Never happened to me with mac update, many times with Windows.
