I used this app since late summer 2010 and always felt a beta tester.

From April 2010 until october 2010 there even wasn't a decent update and now as finally 2.0 is released I have to pay again - being one of their early adapters and a few weeks to early to buy their version 1.0 - which I refuse although I understand very well that not all upgrades can be free !

So I'm in need for a good alternative.

As Nevercenter wrote on Twitter on Jan 25th: "we're selling CB2 as a separate product (no upgrades)"

So no upgrade license available for software which only was updated once ?

I'll pass for this version 2 which has a terrible Interface and no Sparkle Support ! ;(

App seems abandoned on both iOS and Mac OS. Developers seems busy with Steinway app for iOS and seems no more interested in releasing new versions of Mac, iPhone AND iPad !

What a pity and shame as this was once this a great app !

Google writes in Twitter that latest GE 6.1. is available for download, but after downloading from here:

Downloaded a demo and bought the iOS app. First looks were very nice indeed !

Contacted the developer on a problem related to not syncing recipe photo's between devices. He seems in a deep sleep as I got no response after 4 days so I ditched the trial version.

Really sorry, nut I strongly believe that good developer support increases the overall joy of using Mac OS and iOS app.

btw the latest version is 1.5.1
