Has the bug where the yellow minimize widget disappears upon switching spaced to/from Parallels occupying its own full-screen space been resolved yet???
Terrific alternative to Safari. Bought an educational license years ago and I'm surprised to see that it still works (have been using Safari as primary browser for a while now).
I love that it has customizable ad-blocking built right in, that the built-in OS X in place dictionary works in OminWeb, beautiful tabs, webkit engine, smooth scrolling, and a strong development team.
For all these reasons, I think it is the best Mac browser when compared with Safari, Firefox, and Camino (the only other real browsers on the Mac).
What I can't figure out is how this software is free. Terrific job. One of the great free applications that is being actively developed for the Mac. Thank you!
RipIt finally picks up where the ridiculously greedy and selfish MacTheRipper "team" dropped the ball about a year ago. Required "donations", ridiculous hoops to jump through, the way their forums are censored (heaven forbid you critique the Holy Application) are prime examples of the detriment that MTR has become to the Mac community.
RipIt returns to basics. Up front pricing (which is less than half than the required donation for MTR). Simple, intuitive interface. And it works.
Disappointed that it's one year since I've tried this app, and it STILL cannot create proper DVD discs from video_ts folders that work in set top DVD player.
I remember it was a problem with Tiger's burning framework, was this not fixed in Leopard (i'm running 10.5.1).
