Bonjour Mounter
maxxxx commented on 22 Mar 2009
Hi,

I still have problem with Bonjour mounter when my MacBook Pro wakes up. It looses all mounts and sometimes is able to rediscover them but sometimes it does not. I will have to fiddle with going to the mount manually through finder and then BM will work again.

I also have a little request: It would be nice on some mounts to have an option for BM to send wakeUp (magic packets) signals so sleeping servers would wake up... (useful when trying to save energy)

Otherwise this app is going to the right direction and I love the frequency and speed of updates. Nice work!

Thx,
Max

Bonjour Mounter
maxxxx commented on 03 Dec 2008
I tried Bonjour mounter (1.1) and it does not seem to mount anything. I tired to mount my home server (mac mini) with the correct settings, but no luck as well as I tried to autmount my time capsule. Although I am not sure about the login name when mounting time capsule since os x is only asking fir a password.... may be someone has an idea?

All my systems are intel based macs with leopard installed

Does bonjour mounter create a log file?

Thx,
Max

No, sorry still not working. Bonjour mounter does not throw a connection error message but it does not seem to establish a connection either. No Icon appears on the desktop nor is there any change in the "share" group on the sidebar of a finder window to indicate a connection (eject button).

When I enter false values, like wrong password, etc, Bounjour mounter opens a dialog box with an error message. So it seems to do something...

Very unfortunate. It would be a nice tool indeed if it was working.

Thx

Thanks for the effort,

My server's name is "napoleon", the mount point is "max".

by the way...
Any idea how the login name should be for the time capsule?

Thx
