The zen way: Bento 4 may not allow you to create any record. Yes you heard: a database with a little bug indeed. Other users on their support page seem to struggle as well with the issue. Think twice and wait until addressed (my advice)
while enjoying the convenience brought by 1P, I still can't understand why entry fields are so limited: obviously designed with US users in mind, lots of info can't find a proper place within 1P. Banks details, admin stuff, etc. etc.
so keep saving these crucial bits of info as generic notes (they call them "Wallet"), until they wake up on that one, or someone else comes around with better...
following previous comments, it would be fair to mention that the developer offers ALL his Utilities apps for a minimum donation of US$10.
FilePathCM offers enough options if you develop web site and database, or for creating docs' URL for your GTD.
Agregator does a good job when collecting support files from clients.
and Seatubes... ok! but why archiving stuff from YouTube in the first place!? bookmark it: so much things get published every day: good chance that you'll never watch this video again...
I've been using MailTags since day 1, looking for an alternative to Entourage which had better features at the time.
MailTags saved Mail for me, no less!
its free working sibling must be mentioned: Act-on.
bring QuickSilver in the equation, and your workflow becomes seemless.
highly recommended.
simple and ideal if like me, you store your contacts in a FileMaker database, but want also to benefit from Leopard integrated apps while you're working on this particular project.
once finished with it, I just trash this group in Address Book.
Update to version 2.4 not working, either done internally within iDeskCal or from MacUpdate download link (!?!).
Otherwise updating the latest comments posted here: CPU issue has been fixed since 2.3.
My only feedback: it would be better not to have any icon on the Dock or Menu, accessing the Preferences by double-clicking the app itself (in the Application folder).
I thought I was just updated v1 (should have read the fine lines - my mistake) to discover that ActOn v2 breaks Mail (which couldn't load any message) as well as MailTags itself!!
also, no doubt that it is great coming from the creator of MailTags, but very pricy indeed if you consider that the 2 work together - and now you need 2 licenses!
MiniMail and shortcuts not good friends: new message window remains frozen. Message has to be saved and then sent !?
support are not responding
well...
of course the concept is great ; )

The UI integrates seamlessly with the OS.
Most bugs are fixed with the next updates and support is active. Response might be blunt and limited, the developer is still responsive.
Unaddressed though: the ability to integrate job number without relying on Notes.
