Still works with these design apps in 10.5:
InDesign CS4, Illustrator CS4, QuarkXPress 8.1, FreeHand MX and RapidWeaver 4. Also in text editing apps (Bean, Textedit, etc.) but not NeoOffice.
I'm still looking for a replacement to iClip 4 and it's too bad that MacHeist's John Casasanta has dropped development even though I understand it with his workload. The Inventive website is now down with a short, "iClip is no longer available for sale or download" message.
OK... fine... but has anyone tried the latest MacHeist nano bundle offering, Clips(!?!) Yikes, this is what is being offered by the maker of iClip? Lots of bells and whistles but missing the sleekness and stealth of iClip. Even Clips reviews here on MU stink.
John, if you read MU comments, sell off iClip to another developer or open-source it or something... anything. But burying it seems a waste. I offered a feature suggestion as late as last Fall and got a hopeful reply back from an Inventive staff member. In the meantime, I'll still be trying other clipboard managers to see if something matches what I've become used to.
With the fate of FreeHand MX still in the hands of Adobe, I recommend that all users here join the thousands at www.FreeFreeHand.org . FreeHand does not have to fall prey to Adobe's practice of non-competition or it's forced migration to Illustrator. Having both vector applications is the best of both worlds.

GOT 'NO TAG' ERRORS - WHAT'S UP?
This is the overall problem I am reading in others comments. I am using the demo mode and in the 10 song limit I found this to be true as well. I went to the website to see what's up before I buy this app and the problem is addressed clearly. Here's the answer/explanation:
iVolume is adjusting the tag named 'iTunNORM' that is embedded by iTunes directly into the tracks when 'Sound Check' is turned on. If the 'iTunNORM' tag is missing in a song, iVolume can't adjust that song. The result is a 'No Tag' error. If you get 'No Tag' errors in iVolume, first make sure that 'Sound Check' is turned on in 'iTunes > Preferences… > Playback'.
Sometimes you may still get 'No Tag' errors for many tracks. Especially older iTunes versions tend to store the 'iTunNORM' tag in its internal database instead of inside the track files.
In this case you can force iTunes to put the missing 'iTunNORM' tags into the songs by performing the following instructions:
