Frustrating. I installed Smartview with a U301 3G/4G. It took awhile to get it to work. I messed around with Spint's website for quite a bit of time but the help there was poor. I finally called customer service to get help. It took them 45 minutes to discover my account wasn't set up properly.
When things are working its great, but trying to get it to connect is troublesome. I often have to restart the software several times and unplug and replug the U301 device. Sometimes I have to restart the computer.
When I tried checking for up dates it said I had the latest software, 2.28. Yet, here at MacUpdate I find 2.40.
I've been using Copy Paste Pro for a long time. I am current with v 2.3.3. It works fairly well, but has always been a bit buggy. At the moment I can get the archive locking system to work. I can lock the archives, but when I switch to another and then go back to the previous archive it becomes unlock. This is very frustrating.
I've been using Quickbooks for several years. I've had lots of problems and poor service. What I have, QB2009, works, but buggy and frustrating. Supposedly 2009 was going to fix my problems, but didn't. I'm afraid to upgrade to 2010. $200 for a poor program and poor service - come on Intuit! At least what I have works.
I just bought Bento a few months ago. Not a very good program at all. Now v. 2 is available and they want the full price of $49. I don't think so. I'll never buy a Filemaker product again.
I am still frustrated with the new CopyPaste Pro. The old CopyPaste was much better. The new browser is so much less efficient than the old version with two pallets. Unfortunately I bought the new version without trying it. Oh well.
I have been having problems trying to configure Phonevalet Anywhere. I've gone back and forth with emails and am getting nowhere. At Macworld I met the owner and told him about my problems. I said his instructions on his website were difficult to understand, especially for a novice like me. His response to that was, "That's a fair comment." He said that configuring is confusing, but that if someone were knowledgeable on the subject it should take about three minute to set up Anywhere. I asked him if I could call him directly and have him walk me through it. His reply was, "Not really." I've spent $169.95 for the software and $59.95 for Anywhere and that is all I get.
