somehow it did work for a moment on snowleopard, at least the small play/pause button.
but after trying to open the nettunes window, hangs.. and no succes ever again.. not even after trashing all prefs and reinstalling.
i will not complain.. it's an ancient application for ancient macs; it seems to work om my iMacG3 as a server. too bad i cant control it from other macs, could have been a perfect solution..

even it's an old application, it works on Intel 2.4Ghz 10.6.6 controlling a iMacG3 on 10.4.x with errors like "-1000 AppleEvent handler failed." after each action..
and if a stream on the remote controlled mac hangs.. there is no other option than to cancel the "connecting" window on that machine itself..
it's a pitty you have to login every time again.

it would be perfect if it was able to live in the menubar.
and if styled, it could be like the genius Remote.app for Mac to Mac.. i would give a buck for that!

i really love this simple but beautiful screensaver.
but i get a black screen. i'm on 10.7.2 on a 2008 MBP. no desktop screenshot anymore. but custom image works fine.

Chax

Macspresso had trouble on 24 Dec 2009

i did the automatic update on 10.6 minutes ago. it replaced the chax-app with the 'chax 3.0a5 installer'-app itself..
so now i get the choice to reinstall or remove chax everytime i try to run chax.app: same app-name, but different icon, which is the updater-icon.
manual update didn't bring back chax either. i'm still stuck with the updater-app.

ehm.. okay.. assuming i was running ichat in normal mode, not even noticing that my contactlist has all contacts in 1 window. whoohoo! very nice. did not know that chax is not a stand alone app anymore. finally totally integrated with ichat in 10.6 again. really perfect!
i just needed a coffee to see that. thanx!
