I didn't turn the challenge response system off, and I had to send an apologetic letter out to my clients when they received a "threatening" letter about being blacklisted. Maybe this works for PC users, but not for Mac users. I'm back to Spamfire. very disappointing.
Selection of fonts. Freehand MX for example would allow me to select both fonts. So would Illustrator. After installing Font Card I couldn't do it in Freehand, presumably because it uses a different method from Illustrator. Ilustrator and the Adobe apps already grouped fonts, so I only need it in Freehand. Helvetica Neue Bold and Bold italic have separate PS fonts, but the screenfonts are in the same suitcase (I think). I'm guessing for right now I'll be out of luck with Freehand.
I disagree on the grayed out fonts. They do show up in my font menu. Helvetica Neue Bold Italic is not the same as selecting the Italic style from Helvetica Neue Bold. As a rule of thumb, you should avoid using that method of choosing fonts with commercial printing.
Major problems for me when I installed 3.0.1 update. Could not log back in Finder and/or Dock would cause machine to lock. I installed for all users on machine. Only way out was to boot into OS 9 and remove windowshade prefpane and window shade ape files. Beware.
I have a problem with Freehand MX and various version of helvetica. For instance, it displays Helv Neue black condensed oblique, but it's grayed out. Helv Neue black condensed works fine. Good start, but some rough edges.
