No way I going to throw money at something like this without being able to test drive it first. You going to find the majority of folks who are in agreement. Yea it is only 6.99 but there no money back. Bad move to go to apple's store for a very specific type of software that will only appeal to a small market. Too bad.
Noticed the Mac OSX version built-in spell checking in the 4.0 beta is not added to the bundle. I seriously hot this was just a oversight and it will be re added by the released date
Why pay for something you can have done for FREE and FAST? Non destructive captioning/subtitles added to your .mp4 videos (will not work on regular quicktime .mov files)
check out Subler http://code.google.com/p/subler/
Subler is an Mac OS X app created to work with mp4 files. The main features are:
* Creation of subtitles tracks, compatible with all Apple's devices (iPod, AppleTV, iPhone, QuickTime).
* Import of video, audio, chapters and subtitles tracks from mov and mp4.
* Raw formats: H.264 Elementary streams (.h264, .264), AAC (.aac), AC3 (.ac3).
* Metadata editing.
MicroSlob before making a claim as such... be sure its not the user who at fault. I can type in any canadian city and it will pop up with the correct city. It will NOT find small towns that are not even part of the weather service.
Woo Hoo! WoW!!
This is simply amazing and never thought I could ever use the EyeTV guide. EyeTV said one day they will have support for Canada... but would never commit to a timeframe. It appears that most TV service charges a premium for this ability if its a commercial ware company.
There some minor quirks in the documents that needs fixing.
- Your referral url for installation steps need to be changed.
- There a addition you need to add in the channels lineup for those who do not customize the channel list. Once the list is up for viewing you have to select each channel in the EPG Column to TitanTV otherwise eyeTV doesn't even know the channels exist. I figure that out after I read the alert error in eyeTV.
Excellent program. Finally after months of waiting for something that would not only compress .rar, but the ability to split the archive into smaller segments. This is the first one for the Mac and a long time coming.
Thanks goes to the author for filling in a need where no one else has created a rar program to split files for the Mac.
You might want to consider hosting your files on a legit area, rather on those free uploading places where people can complain and have your file removed without verifying the truth of the application.
