I needed to convert and export a mpeg1 clip (training video on a vcd) to mpeg4 for import to iPhone. wow. easy easy easy. Choose the right output of 16:9 for the iPhone and click a button. Move it to iTunes and upload. It kept/transfered the audio--- unlike QuickTimePro!
There was no obvious degradation in quality because I used the highest quality conversion available in the program. I will delete the clip later when I have absorbed the lesson ;->
Looking at this program from the above perspective, it receives five stars for accomplishing the task without a _single_ complication.
in safari 3.x, right click or ctrl-click in the tab bar produces a contextual menu, "New Tab."
Don't remember what occurred in Safari 2.x as i usually invoked Command-T to open a new tab.
I suppose double clicking the tab bar would save a person a few milliseconds per incident. Additionally, having the double-click-on-tab-bar to produce a new tab, in safari, could preserve a few brain memory cell because the command is used across all browsers.
Okay but...
