This software is great and fulfills all my needs: I've got an EyeTV200 that is recording off a digital cable set-top box (UK Samsung ntl box), and this program allows me to set the recording dates/time in iCal in order to control automatically the channel changes on the set-top box via an IR remote (iRed) - my dream come true! I can also move the recordings across an AirPort network (with the Archive Mover feature) between different drives and play from multiple archives.

Okay so that's brilliant just for my own very specific set-up, but it's got plenty of other features too, so it's definitely worth checking out for your own set-up if there's something that EyeTV's own software can't do.

Bearing in mind that's it's in beta mode i.e. still under development (and if you've got questions the developer is very responsive), that's pretty impressive stuff.
