There are many good things about this app but unfortunately the only way to sync is to pay for it.
While having a paid syncing service is fine, what is not so fine is the fact that you can't use a WiFi to do the job if you wish. Given that the mechanics of sync have been developed there seems to be no good reason to not have WiFI syncing - unless the developer is hoping to make more money by forcing users to use the cloud sync. I don't want to put my data on the cloud if I can avoid it for security issues. Also depending on where you are you may not have a web connection.
One big annoyance though is that it doesn't indicate in any way that your private folders are actually open.
With more of us not shutting down our computers for days at a time, this is a pretty glaring oversight. Especially as the interaction is through a menu item, it could easily indicate this (like Dropbox).
The only downside is the ugly ugly Windowsesque icon - which unfortunately sits in the menu bar too.
You can get a nicer replacement here:

I tried replacing the icons inside the app itself for the menu bar but unfortunately no luck. Not sure why but perhaps because the replacements are a different size.
Ironically this app has become a little more useful with Lion since Lion doesn't seem to have the all Windows expose any longer. And in fact I could imagine this app becoming popular if it actually duplicated (or had the option to do so) the old all-windows Expose including the tab option which rotated through all the windows of a particular app.
The most glaring omission is that it should list all the tabbed Windows in say Safari. That alone would give it something beyond Expose.
I've had another look into this issue, and the -1303 is probably not to do with Trim Enabler. Perhaps if others have the same issue you can report it here. So after all, it seems that this works well.
Seems pretty good and it's cheap. Some immediate issues which hopefully will be fixed:
* the paste into (with BBEdit) doesn't seem to work from the Toolball (only the copy then paste)
* Syntax coloring is buggy. MySQL keywords capitalized break it in PHP
* You require to get the syntax coloring. But you don't want this because they then get pasted into your code
* When you do command-S the syntax coloring disappears.
Oops. Version 2 seems to have lost the ability to add a column to a table. Where there were 3 buttons to
Add Index, Remove Index, and Add Column now the Add Column one is missing.
I can only imagine this is a temporary oversight as it seems good software.
If the ability is still there then there's a interface issue as it must be well hidden somewhere.
I finally tracked down that there is a 'alter...' dropdown in the area to the left (the area visually for the database as a whole rather than the individual table), but selecting it brings up the same dialogue box as clicking the + symbol to its left so no luck there. I wonder what happened to the add column icon. Weird. Sure it'll be fixed soon.
Ha,
Seems the Cog > Alter... does work after all. Seems that there's a small bug that manifests itself with certain tables, and that previously didn't work for me.
That said, I'm not sure why the developer hid the "Add Column" away from where it was before.

TRIM Enabler
But kudos to the developer, he includes a restorer within the app (I just selected 'default restore' and all was good. Although no trim support.
