Within an hour I have decided to dump NetNewsWire (even though I did pay) and will now give up on Vienna ever being what I want. I love the ability to have some feeds be complete web page and some just the little content. Sure in Vienna and NNW you can drag the individual description into the web pane, but that's well, a pain if not necessary. And if you want to then load the whole page you don't have to mouse to another pane, just click the link right there in the content pane. My chief issue with Vienna is lack of a toolbar. There is another version of Vienna that does have a toolbar but that's klunky to my mind.
E2 is fast, stable, customizable (you can actually have 4 panes), and free (though I will be donating soon). It needs some documentation for folk less geek.
That version of Vienna is "developmental." Reading the forums reveals the final version will look better; developer is not interested in GUI esthetics so much as functions. There is an even better "3rd party" toolbar type GUI which might be incorprated.
Does what it says. For someone (me) who is entering in quite a bit of stuff into iTunes that are not in the iTunes Music Store or are testing various artworks (would rather have different than what was auto-grabbed from ITMS) this little app is extremely handy. Off to make a little donation.
There is nothing in Help for customize toolbar but discussion for "standard" customizing with which I am quite familiar. I *had* looked anyway. Thanks to the developer for explaining about waiting.
I have had many email interactions with both the front guy and the main software guy at Unison. They have always been responsive and informative. As evidenced by some comments here "mileage varies." I've had no issues with updates and am now on Tiger with Unison 1.6.2. My gripes are meager filtering, no binaries posting, and no simultaneous opening groups (i.e. highlight all a Favorites' groups and double-click for them all to start opening). But their support? It's been great and is why I paid up even before I was commited to using it full-time.

Can anyone download from within E2? I just get a spinning gear.
