I previously used a free app called ParaDocks. It stopped working on the newer OS's & I felt lost without it. I purchased this app which is similar in part (but does so much more) and tried it out. I love it!

I found the following recommendation on MacFixIt this morning for installing OS X 10.5.8.

1.0 Download the "combo" updater for this update

2.0 Reboot into Safe Mode

3.0 Run a permissions ﬁx and drive check on the boot drive with Disk Utility

4.0 Apply the update and reboot

5.0 Run a permissions ﬁx again with Disk Utility

After reading the other comments I decided not to update. I then tried to launch my currently installed version 5.0. It wouldn't work! So I trashed it and went back to version 4.3 and that works just fine. Guess I'll stay with that one forever.

Downloaded, read the instructions & followed them (note - you have to insert your original DW 4.0 disk. It will not work if you try to use your previously updated DW 4.1 disk). Produced a DW 4.1.1 disk with no problem. I then restarted using this new disk (as usual it takes a LONG time) and ran it. Worked fine, I'm happy.

I think this (free) software is outstanding. Feature rich and very easy to use.

I know it's beta but it should at least run. When launched it froze my Mac. Force quit wouldn't work. Finally able to shut down by depressing the main power button for several seconds, which I really hate to do.

Down loaded & installed this on a macmini duo core with OS 10.5.2
Screwed up everything. Unable to fix/uninstall & I ended up cloning back from my external hard drive in order to recover.
