ForkLift is a nice file browser and FTP/SFTP/WebDAV client, but I think the price is a bit steep. $20 or $25 seems much more reasonable, considering the competition for this kind of app. I'm glad I bought it as part of a software bundle -- I like it but could not see paying full price for it.
$98??? Come on, man. A utility like this would be more appropriately priced at $20 or even $30, but almost $100 for basically a front-end configuration utility for things that can be configured the "hard" way (manually) for free?
I'd bet the developer would sell 3x more copies if the price was $30.
With each update, I grow to love VisualHub more and more. I bought it a few months ago to convert some files to FLV format for a job I was working on, and now I use it for most of my video conversion chores. I'm glad the developer is staying active on this project!
