A PPSX files includes a slide show created by Microsoft PowerPoint and is saved in the Open XML format.
If you don't have MS PowerPoint and if NeoOffice fails on you you might want to try a file converter (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/microsoftofficeopenxmlfileformatconverter.html) and then open the file in NeoOffice.

Snow Leopard "... caused all previous versions of NeoOffice to fail to install or fail to launch. This release is the first NeoOffice release that should install and launch on Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard."

Well, I've been running NeoOffice 2.2.5 Patch 14 and I seem to not been having any issues whatsoever with Snow Leopard.

Ok, after having trashed the previous version because of crashes upon start THIS VERSION now works fine with me - like in the old days.... Thanks.
