It then hung while I tried to paste the address into it and I had to kill it. Again, not impressive.
I managed to get it to work but it made about seven separate attempts to connect to the internet which I authorised in Little Snitch. What it didn't do was check in advance of the bid time whether it had a working connection so when I came back to my computer, it had not made the bid because it was blocked by Little Snitch and so I lost an auction that I otherwise would have won.
Overall, decidedly disappointing.

Vuze
Azureus used to be good, if rather unintuitive. It did everything I wanted and it was very configurable. It was a bit buggy and crashed regularly but I still liked it.
Now Vuze has come along, the quirky but still cool app I used to know has eaten too many pies. Vuze is confusing, bloated and slow. All I want my bittorrent client to do is download torrents. I don't want built in search engines or media libraries or .
I like a nice well-rounded application that sticks out in the right places, but Vuze has overdone it. Vuze, I don't know how to say this, but I am leaving you for someone a little more svelte (ie transmission). We had fun but I'm afraid it's over.
Overflow
I very often have to click twice to get an app to launch. It frequently appears right at the top of the screen cutting off the top two thirds. If I try to open it in the second or third workspace I have to click on the dock icon two or three times respectively to get it to appear.
I still (sort of) like it, but the main appeal was two clicks to open an app, now it's more like six.
In short, this needs a fair bit of work to work as well as it did under Tiger which is rather disappointing.
gSync
GSync did the trick for me. I haven't tested it extensively but it was easy to setup and seems to have synced my calendars properly. My tenner is on its way.
