Letterbox

Does what it says ti does. However, I'm seeing a quirk when running b5 on Mac OS X 10.6.2. What happens is that periodically, for some unknown reason, it stops working and drops back to the Apple default view where preview is below the message list. I go into Mail preferences, de-select Letterbox, re-select it and quit mail. Upon coming back up, Letterbox is again functional. This happens to me on 3 different Mac all running 10.6.2. Anyone have an idea of why Letterbox drops out periodically ?
