I'm not sure where you're sending letters to, but blogging crash reports to Apple doesn't help since they don't share crash reports with 3rd party developers.

Screen Mimic
In addition to QuickTime format, Screen Mimic also encodes to Flash (SWF) and Flash Video. Something that niether iShowU nor SnapzPro will do.
In addition Screen Mimic allows you to save your recording in raw format so that you can encode it at a later time with different options.
Finally, Screen Mimic allows you to encode a seperate audio track in place of that captured during recording.
