If I weren't on a real platform (OS X), and didn't have a real mail (mail.app) or real newsreader (Halime), This would be a good alternative to many available options. On OS X, if you're used to it from other platforms, it might be nice for consistancy. Solid, quick, not bad looking... But nothing compared to the native Cocoa alternatives.
Beautifully intuitive, very good syntax hiliting, incredibly well thought out collaborative features. A wonderful example of the power of Cocoa and Rendevous.
The ONLY limitation is that it's limited to Mac OS X, and as far as I've seen the authors have not posted the specification for the protocols. Were those published, I would think that there will be implementations for other systems.
Does plain text only, and does not save metadata regarding who has worked on the file.
As the fine reviewers on Perversiontracker might say, "Oh GOD, it BURNS!!"
This "app" is as ugly as sin, slow, and painfully unintuitive. It's ONLY redeeming feature is cross-platform compatability, but who actually tries to WORK on Windows anyways?

Interface is much better than previous versions, as is speed.
The screensaver mode is quie cute.
All in all, it's nice to see this emulator come into the 21st century.
