Why has the developer removed the ability to resize and crop your display picture. Is this a change in leopard or the software, because i've noticed this elsewhere as well.
I'm running Leopard 10.5.1 on my macbook and Adium 1.1.4, I even re-downloaded it and verified it was the correct version. my problem is my old version on adium had the recropping tool and now all of a sudden it doesnt.
Previously when "choose icon" was selected, it opened a preference pane asking what picture you would like to use or choose recent pics from a gallery. Along with this it also allowed for the cropping and re-sizing of DP's on the same pane. The newer version simply opened up a finder search and once you selected the image it would automatically crop the image. I was unaware that clicking the image would allow for cropping and various filters to be applied. However it does make sense now. No issues!
Please Microsoft put something out that works. I'm sick of the crashes when I merely close the conversation window. and I just bought a 2.16GHz 2GB Macbook and it actually crashed my computer deleting some apps just because it had to send an error report. Please get it right!. I guess it's adium for now
