Decent app. Gets the job done.

It is missing the one feature that I'm looking for -- base16 encoding of the hash value. Otherwise though, it's great.

Note: This is not a drag/drop install and a license key is required -- which must be requested from the publisher, even to evaluate the software or use the community version.

Incredibly handy tool for anyone developing web services or needing to integrate with an existing web service. Far easier than rolling your own test client/script and far better than typing in soap requests manually :)

A friend of mine recently introduced me to Firebird, which I learned is essentially just the OpenSource version of InterBase -- something that's been around for more than two decades and is a) extremely lightweight and b) extremely reliable. So reliable in fact that it's often use for embedded systems and the DBMS itself can be slimmed down to a mere 5MB (or so I read). Even still, my full working install has a bin folder of only about 8MB!

I've recently begun experimenting with this and am really surprised. For being such a tiny install, it's packed with speed and many of the same features you see in MSSQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL, but without the cost, bloat and weird syntax.

Full support for stored procedures, functions, domains, triggers, referential integrity, transactions etc. right out of the box. .NET providers and ODBC drivers are available as well as a number of free and commercial GUIs for management. Not to mention that it's available for a myriad of platforms.

If you're starting a small-medium scale project that needs a robust SQL DBMS, this might be worth a look.

This FTP client is awesome.

It supports FTP, SFTP, SSH, SCP, WebDAV, WebDAVS, AmazonS3, AmazonS3S, HTTP, HTTPS, and File/Local.

The interface is excellent and easy to use. I disagree with the other comment made here -- I think Interarchy 9 is without question, the "prettiest" of all the FTP clients.

Bookmarks are easily accessible and can be organized any way you'd like.

The mirroring functionality is top notch, and I use it to easily mirror two file repositories of 40GB+ each without any issue. One of these repositories is standard FTP and the other is AmazonS3. The ability to schedule the mirrors makes for nice automation.

I've also used the SSH FTP support to manage files on my iPhone (which shows up automatically in Interarcy thanks to Bonjour).

The developers are some of the most responsive and receptive I've dealt with and I saw a number of my suggestions implemented during the course of helping them with the beta releases for this version.

I've used (and purchased) many FTP applications over the years: Cyberduck, VicomFTP, Transmit, FileZilla, RBrowser, etc. etc. and they all fall short.

Interarchy 9.0.1 has still got a few quirks but it is, in my opinion, vastly superior to the other available clients.
