Please disregard my comments on May 8 2006. What had happened to my files is that it renamed the main folder and moved it up where I could not see the newly renamed folder. So I did not lose any files. It works as it said so my apologies to the Developer pmfine.

My main folder was only 16 characters including spaces so I am not sure why it was renamed? It removed 9 characters and added 001 at the end.

My new appraisal of this app is

I have been looking for an app that would check for file name being over 31 and when I saw this app I was ready to try it out. So after testing it and seeing that the app worked as it said it would I've been using it. Today I used it on 3.5 gigs of work files and when it was DONE all my files were gone. This app deleted all my files so this app is in the trash. It is not worth losing 2 weeks of 15 peoples work in 30 seconds. I give this app 1 star for trying to solve this problem but for losing all my files thats a minus -3 stars. It's a good thing we have a daily backup of our server.
