EasyBatchPhoto was just what I was looking for. Very capable, easy to use. I had over 18,500 photos in my iPhoto library and with a smart tip from their support I converted all of the photos, that were stored by iPhoto in over 2,500 folders into sequenced filenames stored in one single folder in less than 1 hour. Stunning performance, simple to use. This is the solution.
Highly recommended, there is nothing else available that could accomplish this.
