When I fired up the demo to give it a whirl, I was immediately greeted with an Activation Screen, "to reduce software piracy". Is this a Microsoft product?
I don't care how good a product may be - immediately treating me like someone who would steal software is a sure-fire way to lose my business.
Warranty Hero was deleted from my system with zero hesitation.
My advice: Unless you like being treated like a thief, find an alternative.
I used to be a faithful user and I would've been willing to pay a small fee for the program, but there was no warning whatsoever. I won't be purchasing this program after the developer pulled this trick. It was dirty of them, and makes me seriously question their ethics. I will find an alternative.
Sorry, Senuti, but I won't be recommending you any longer to my friends and customers and the link to your program has just been removed from my website. Goodbye, old friend.
I've used iPhoto Buddy for several years now and love it!
The ability to have multiple photo libraries for different subjects really helps when organizing large groups of photos. I can have one for family, friends, vacations, pets, work related items, art, and on and on.
I'm able to launch iPhoto Buddy with a click, select the library I want, and open it quickly and easily. When I'm done with that library, iPhoto Buddy is waiting for me to select the next one.
I really like the ability to lock certain libraries. This feature keeps my artwork-in-progress from prying eyes and no one will see it before I'm ready.
I would recommend this program to anyone who is looking for a comprehensive library manager with some extra features. It's free and works beautifully. I've never had a problem with it crashing or failing to launch. It's a rock-solid app!
I downloaded this game because I like a good puzzle mystery now and again. The developer lets you play for a full 60 minutes to really sink your teeth into the game. The gameplay is pretty good, but I do have one issue. On my machine (MBP 17" Core Duo) some of the screens are so dark that I am unable to see the objectives for that level. The playroom and the morgue are the two examples that I had difficulty with. I couldn't see what I was supposed to be looking for.
The mini-games are pretty fun, although there are a couple that you will either have to blow your "skips" on or run out of time before you can figure it out. It's for that reason I wish the games were not timed. Not everyone is a game whiz.
Besides those two small problems, the game is engaging and fun to play. The hour trial flew by once I started and I find myself wanting to play more. Unfortunately, I am unwilling at this time to plunk down my cash for a game that I cannot entirely see and one that I may get stuck on with the puzzle issue. If those items are address or if the developer tells me what to do to remedy them, this this will be an excellent game to add to my collection!
LaughinSKull - Got it. I was asking for a screenshot of the eMux/package contents file structure to see how the database system had been downloaded. Moot point now.
Jeremy's fix worked great. Thanks for your response :)
I've been a long-time user (since it was released in 2006) and I loved it!
I do have a problem though: It is NOT compatible with Snow Leopard unless you set it to "Level: Normal". I prefer it to be "Level: Desktop" so that it won't get over other windows. Small beans, you may say, and you're probably right. The other Snow Leopard issue is that you can't have more than once instance of it running at the same time.
I've contacted the developer and he says and update is coming after they've updated their more expensive apps. I understand that reasoning, but it's still a little disappointing.
Right now, I'm looking for a different launcher until Docktop is fixed. I hope it is fixed soon.
Thanks.

Any chance for a clean design down there to make reading easy?
I'll keep watching this app and hoping that it matures into what its potential says it can.
Thanks for the good work!

iPhoto Buddy
Some people may think this app is useless, and they're entitled to their opinion, but I think that this app rocks.

eMux
I am also having the Database issue. I am unable to download either database offered in eMux.
Please point me in the right direction. Thank you!
