Joomla is an excellent content management system. I've been using it and its predecessor (Mambo) for years. The package runs well on my own and remotely hosted sites. I use with *nix, PHP, and MySQL. It is flexible, extensible, and relatively easy to setup and maintain. End-users can add and edit content, which is a real bonus for community, non-profit, and company sites that want to outgrow the single webmaster/chief editor model.
Joomla is not, however, a Mac application and may be confusing to some by having it posted here.
Works as advertised. Can't beat the price, file size, or reliability. Haven't had a problem using it. Great for backing up an iPod. Have used it to backup a 20GB and a 512Mb Shuffle. User interface is simple but effective.
Upon installation and restart of Firefox 9.0.1 (NoScript, Flashblock) Mac OS 10.7.2 (lion) (w/Little Snitch running), Firefox displayed this:
"This page asks to use a plugin that can only be run in 32-bit mode"
It doesn't appear that the latest plugin is compatible with my configuration (or, I've so severely constrained its ability to operate that is does not).

Developer support is excellent: responsive, patient, and insightful analysis and instructions -- despite a problem arising from a non-LaunchBar issue.
