Excellent program. There's a bit of a learning curve (all the options can be overwhelming, at first, but it's worth it to take the time to explore the preferences). It's a very configurable program, and the developer is very responsive, via email or his blog. Sometimes I need to manually restart it when it becomes unresponsive, but that happens less and less as updates come. Overall: highly recommended.
This program is awesome. Unlike another program some of us know all-too-well (which feels like a social experiment designed to see just how far they can push your patience), this one "just works." It is a breath of fresh air. And the price is very fair. Highly recommended.
I absolutely love this program. It has everything that TextEdit lacks in terms of features I want. I've actually started using this little program instead of Microsoft Word.
For users who want to WRITE, and do not need a lot of bells and whistles, I highly recommend checking out this great program.
This is a great program. Easy to use and configure. A great way to access your iTunes music from the menu bar without having to constantly switch to the program.
I love this program. I wanted a way to access internet radio from my menu bar. Looked for an itunes plug-in or something, and came across this nifty program. It's small, doesn't take a lot of system resources, it's easy to use, and with the icon in the menu bar, you can quickly and easily switch channels, or click on it to see what's playing.
Also, the developer was very responsive when I emailed him about a problem.
I love the app, but twice now at the end of an .avi video, the controls will appear out of nowhere for a couple seconds and disappear again. Very distracting, and, to be honest, a deal breaker, so back to VLC. Anyone know how to keep this from happening?
0.9.2 was too buggy/extra jumpy on my PPC running 10.4.11. Reverted back to 0.8.6i. But now I can't seem to get the hotkeys working. I set medium skip forward and backward to the left and right arrow keys, but they don't work. They used to work before I "upgraded" to 0.9.2, but now, nope! I deleted preferences before installing each version, each time. There must be a hidden preference somewhere which I can't see?
Well, it turns out the problem with the hotkeys was my fault. I had accidentally double-assigned the keys I wanted to use. So, it wasn't a problem with VLC. At the same time, given all the reports, I can't see a reason to upgrade at this point, and plan to stick with 0.8.6 for now.

The only other features I might like to see are perhaps a download status bar, and an option to "automatically clear cache on quit."
Great job!
