Works for me under Lion, but with one MAJOR irritation.
Despite choosing Assign to > All Desktops from the Dock menu, it stays on the desktop it was launched on and ONLY that desktop. Clicking on a download link then results in the active desktop being switched to wherever SD has its window. It's a total pain.
Would be nice if it could have an option to start up in mini-mode, too.
(Also, the bandwidth throttle goes up to 1000K/s. I wish I could download that fast — my connection tops out at 180K on a good day! It would be better if we could set our maximum download speed, then have the slider set options between 0 and that speed…)
I can't even download the current version - the server keeps timing out halfway through. That said, with all the trouble others are reporting, I might stick with 3.3.0 for a while :)
Awesome update! It missed a bit, though: when I zapped the VideoDrive trial, Hazel then popped up and reported that Library/Application Support/Growl/Tickets/VideoDrive.growlTicket was still around.
Can we at least go back to the good old days when clicking the Download link just, you know, DOWNLOADED THE FILE?
Smith Micro will only let you have their precious program if you "agree" to let them spam you forever. No "agree", no program - this sort of coercion SHOULD be illegal. Consent not given freely is no consent at all.
To anyone thinking of sending me a .sitx file - you'll need to recompress it as .zip, because I'm not playing Smith Micro's games, and I strongly encourage you not to as well. We don't need spam-pushers like this around.
OK, so we have a choice between paying or viewing ads. Fine. But why, if I choose to view ads, does it ALSO nag me on startup that I haven't paid? There's a "buy now" button and a "remind me later" button, but there isn't a "shut the hell up, I *want* to use the ad-supported version" button.
At the moment Atebits are getting ad revenue from me. If Tweetie nags me again, they'll lose that and not recoup it in the form of a registration fee, because I'll be going back to Twitterific.

Don't seem to be compatible with Growl 1.3 as it keeps throwing "Where is GrowlHelperApp" dialogs. Annoyingly, there isn't a "disable Growl" checkbox that you can use to work around this :(
Version 2.1.2 was using over 500Mb (on a 2Gb machine!) less than 10 minutes after launch. That's not good at all - it makes it unusable! (I am running stuff as well as iTunes and CoverSutra :)
The option to use Growl notifications seems to have vanished, too - please can we have this back? I don't want loads of apps that all use their own notifiers: I want everything to work with Growl…
Looks good, but I have some movies in my Movies folder, and some on another drive. There's a symlink to their folder in ~/Movies, so Front Row can see them, but Connect360 won't follow the symlink and says I only have four movies :( Any chance of Connect360 handling symlinks?
My iPhoto library is also on another disk: Connect360 doesn't find it AT ALL, and doesn't have an option for me to say where it is.
Mind you, the library I'd *really* want to access is the Aperture library. Hopefully this will be supported soon...
I started KeyCastr and got a "Catastropic error" because the service wasn't running. Tried again and it started, but there was no Dock icon or menubar icon - I had to go to the Terminal to kill it.
This isn't some 10.5.2-related problem, maybe?
Hopefully once I've got to an icon, I'll be able to set a preference to only show keystrokes with a modifier key pressed.
It also seemed to be very difficult to move the window - it kept trying to jump back. The secret seems to be to keep pressing keys so the window doesn't try to close mid-drag...
It's great - but under Leopard, apart from occasional crashes, it breaks the ability to preview fonts in CoverFlow and Quick Look. All you see is an icon saying "Font Explorer X Font", and no preview.
Even telling Finder to open all font files with Font Book doesn't fix this. Does anybody know how to restore this system functionality without removing FontExplorer X?
Ah, hang on - it seems a Finder search for "kind:font" returns all these "FontExplorer X font" files - unless you restrict it to your FontExplorer X library, in which case it returns the correct font files and preview work OK. Very odd that it shouldn't return those AS WELL AS the "FontExplorer X font" files, but that seems to be Spotlight's fault :)
Installed the demo on Leopard - now I can't use CTRL+number to switch between Spaces, even when Safari is not the focused app. It seems Saft is somehow eating this keystroke globally.
The "jump to bookmark bar item" feature is useful, but I switch between spaces a LOT, and don't want to use a different key shortcut for that. Please can we have an option to have Saft use a different shortcut, and to only have it absorb that shortcut when Safari has focus?
Also I can no longer drag tabs between windows, like I could before installing Saft. I know it provided draggable tabs in Safari 2, but could it be made to not interfere with Safari 3's tab-dragging code?
Actually, a reboot fixed the problem with CTRL-number not switching between spaces, but I'd still like to be able to use the shortcuts in Safari - say with CTRL-OPT-number?
It won't let me record an area on any monitor other than the main one, either in fixed camera mode or follow-mouse mode (the viewport just bangs up against the edge of the screen and tries to stay as close to the pointer as it can)
Are there any plans for dual-monitor support in a future version?

So much for the download link - is there a mirror anywhere? The links on the developer's site go to the same place…
(As an aside, you'd think Apple would make a better looking failure page for mac.com than a couple of lines of monospaced text!)

Respect your users, don't nag them.

I didn't realise the garbage collector was to blame there: it does seem a bit slow to release at times, though. Hopefully that'll improve in 10.5.3 :)
