Macness has released another commercial beta of gSync (gSync v0.9.3-rc1), which is a utility that allows you to simply synchronise Mac OSX iCal with Google Calendar.
This is a signifant improvement over previous betas.
any chance of give us any more info re your situation? Did the application crash or give any error messages? Can you provide us with your exact system definition?
I think this highlights the need for us to have an uninstaller program.
many thx, Jim Fuller (Macness Developer)

Also testing at large scale could only happen once Leopard shipped.
We try to support the best we can and we believe that the latest BETA has solved all issues with Leopard and duplicates.

I think we can safely assume there is a UI issue with the password box (have had 2 other users report this).
Also crashing at startup was reported by one other user, so something is going on there as well.
unfortunately fixing the recurrences bug of the last version has introduced some issues, which we will track down.

Macness recc. that you backup your iCal and Google Calendar before trying it out.
We hope that the comments from the few thousand who have tried will result in a stable v1.0 release.
