Logitech Control Center

Jerry® reviewed on 27 Jul 2011
Don't know why people are having such issues with this. I have an MX Revolution by Logitech and have used it with Logitech Control Center for years without any problems. Just upgraded to 3.4.0 and LION 10.7 and no problems what so ever with installation or use in general. All my settings were retained and it works perfectly. So I don't know why so many people have such negative reviews of this. Maybe user error? Maybe computer error? Repair permissions from your external clone drive or run AppleJack or DiskWarrior. I'm running LCC on my iMac 2.66 GHz Intel Core i5 w/ Lion (10.7) without a hitch.

Yes I have a Magic Trackpad as well and LCC has NOT broken anything. All gestures work as they should.

doubleTwist

Jerry® reviewed on 08 Feb 2011
I was looking for an app to sync iTunes to my Android phone (EVO 4G) and I thought DoubleTwist was it. It has a nice interface that looks like iTunes however, it does not show any Smart Playlists that you have created and thus cannot sync them to your phone. THis is a HUGE drawback. It will let you create new playlists but who wants to recreate all their smart playlists? Instead, go to the Android App Market and get iSyncr for Mac. It allows you to easily sync any and all of your playlist including the smart playlists. For $1 more you can get iSyncr WiFI and sync everything wirelessly- it works like a dream -much better than DoubleTwist. DoubleTwist isn't going to live up to other apps available until it fixes some major issues including the playlists, syncing photos, converting videos (takes forever to sync one video). Try it out and you'll see what I mean. I've deleted it off my Mac and my EVO and am sticking with iSyncr for Mac.

iWeb Enhancer

Jerry® reviewed on 19 May 2006
This application is a MUST for those wanting to add extra HTML, etc. It's VERY easy to do so and well worth the price. A lot of "us" out there were stunned to find out how much functionality Apple left out in iWeb - and yes, there are many arguments for and against such reasonings - however, I've found iWeb Enhancer and iComment to be extremely valuable tools. The developer, Chad, has always been quick to reply to my questions. I highly recommend this and iComment!
