I can see a use for this (I'm often asked to confirm that a signed contract matches the PDF original), but the asking price is ridiculous.

Espionage

This is a great tool backed by a terrific developer. I use it to secure client files on my laptop. It allows me to encrypt only what I need secured, and then access it on the fly. Especially useful if the ability to connect applications and folders - this lets me encrypt my email and the separate Mail downloads folder all at once.

When I ran into a problem getting it set up (and couldn't access any of my data because I'd gotten ahead of myself), the developer responded to my email with clear instructions. Within an hour. At night. It's the best customer support I've encountered with any product or service, bar none.

Nifty little tool. If you don't want to bother with Photoshop, this is a good way to recreate some vintage and artistic effects. Especially if you're only going to post the photos online.

Light

This is a great idea, but charging for it is a bit absurd. I MacGyvered my own last spring when I was organizing a bunch of old negatives. All you need to do is create a plain white desktop picture, and then set your brightness level to maximum. Same result, and enough money left for a pizza.
