Euchre Forever

Jcraig reviewed on 26 Jan 2012
So the person below gives this game a 1-star rating, not once but twice, because it doesn't do something it's not designed to do (READ THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION). Like this company's other offerings, I find this game very nicely done and highly-entertaining. Let's make proper use of the ratings system; rate software for what it is and what it does, not what it isn't and what it's not.

Raw Photo Processor

I've been using RPP in favor of ACR for the past couple of years and my images are much better because of it. The detail I've been able to recover from seemingly blown highlights is nothing less than extraordinary. Likewise, it's amazing what you might find within those shadows when working with RPP. It fits in nicely with my workflow when working with CS5, and with my 2011 MBP, performance is remarkable. I'm looking forward to working with RPP 64, especially after I upgrade to 8GB of RAM this weekend.

Apple Epson Printer Drivers
Jcraig commented on 22 Jun 2011
I first ran SU without anything connected to my MBP and nothing showed up. I then connected the Epson AIO and re-ran SU, resulting in a 31.5MB d/l. While these updates are definitely device-specific, they may also depend on that device being connected (either by cable or via network) to your machine.

MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update
Jcraig commented on 05 May 2011
As always, rely on Software Update to determine your machine's eligibility for this, or any, update. SU installed the MBP Software Update before it would even show this firmware update. Installation went without a hitch. Boot ROM on my 17" went from MBP81.0047.B04 to ...B0E. The AMD EFI driver was updated from 01.00.504 to ...521.

The Unarchiver

I just bought a new MBP and this was one of the very first applications I downloaded and installed on the new machine. I find this little app absolutely indispensable, and in my use it's never failed. I love this app! Keep up the great work.

Had to reenter my voicemail password after updating. Others at AI are reporting this same issue. Make sure you remember your password.

Camino
jcraig had trouble on 05 Jun 2007
CamiSession conflicts with the built-in session-saving now included in Camino. CamiTools is no longer supported and breaks post-1.0.4 builds, which is why you had to trash prefs.js. UnifyCamino and GrowlCamino should pose no problems, make sure you have the latest versions of both.
