I love this thing! Tried other similar things. Very small, easy to use, has the features I want.
Recent changes have improved it, too, adding a couple small features that I and others wanted.
Disagree w/ the previous comments.
First, I did not have to pay for it before using it. It asked me to, but I just ignored that, and it worked fine.
Second, this is useful to me. I often want to add an event in the distant future without changing the calendar view or navigating to the date, within iCal.

Very useful. Installed isightcapture into /bin, then created script as given on the web site above. Edited script to just do the capture, because I didn't need the other stuff it does. Used Cronnix to edit crontab to make it capture every minute.
